Tip of the Week - "Pre Exhaust | Hamstrings" - Breaking out of plateaus often requires changing your exercise routine around to offset the muscles adaptations to your current exercise routine. The Pre-Exhaust strategy is one way to change your exercise routine. Pre-Exhausting involves pre-working the muscle before completing heavier compound exercises for the muscle in question. This way, the primary muscle has to work extra hard to complete the compound exercise. To start, perform 10 reps of the Swiss Ball Leg Curl combined with 10 reps of Glute Raises. Finish with 10 reps of Stiff Legged Deadlifts as your compound movement. This technique will really exhaust the muscle and make your you continue to adapt, recover and build muscle.
