High Intensity Training – Bench Press – If you want to grow your chest and get bigger, then increasing the intensity is the key. After performing 5 warm up sets and 1 working set of 5 reps; you’ll be properly warmed up and have tackled the strength side of things. Now is the time to up the intensity. This last working set will involve 2 drops sets. Using a weight you can do around 8-12 reps; complete an initial set before dropping the weight down by about 10-20% and completing another set. Finish the set off with a final drop set taking another 10-20% off. Aim for at least 4-6 reps on the final set and try to perform drop sets with a training partner both for safety and efficiency.
