Seated Cable Row
The Seated Cable Row like all back exercises could be potentially dangerous so it is crucial to use great form not only to minimise the chance of getting injured but also to get the result you want. To initiate the exercise, bend the knees to lift off & always arch the lower back & keep the chin up. Pull the shoulder blades or scapula together at the top of the movement to get a really good contraction. Ensure the chest & chin is high & the cable is pulled right into the midline of the body. Don'ts - Avoid too much swinging which will work the lower back more. Placing your chin forward & rounding your back is also to be avoided.
