The Close Grip Lat Pulldown exercise is great for the lats, lower traps & rhomboids. Arch the lower back, keep the chin & chest high, & squeeze down, visualising that you are squeezing a grape with your shoulder blades, (this is known as scapular retraction). Return the weight to the starting position in a smooth manner on the way up. Ensure that you don't swing the weight to get it down, or allow the weight to ascend without control.
