Rich Gaspari's Workout Tips - Delt Exercise 4 – Cable Side Lateral Raise: A good exercise for keeping constant tension using a cable. You can lean into or out of the movement to keep constant stress on the insertion of the delt. You don't need a lot of weight, you just need a lot of burn. Turn your hand at the top of the movement, like pouring a jug of water. Reps are very slow, with constant tension on the delts. You don't want to hit the traps. Bring your elbow high, leading with the ring finger then turning your hand. Do 3 sets of 12 reps nice and slow.
