The name sums it up well…RedBak’s Complete Protein is just that – complete with all the major types of protein from fast to slow. In total, Complete Protein contains a total of six different proteins. RedBak have called this blend ‘CP6 Synergistic Protein Matrix’.

RedBak Complete Protein Powder

While Complete Protein contains a total of six different types of protein, don’t let this trick you into thinking that it’s an inferior protein. With whey protein isolate topping the list of ingredients, followed by whey protein concentrate, Complete Protein is still a great quality protein.

It’s even possible to work out the amounts of some of the minor protein components such as milk protein concentrate, milk solids and egg white albumin. Each of these proteins is listed after the amino acid taurine, which is only present at 60mg per serve according to the nutritional panel. So these proteins are only present in amounts less than 60mg – raising the question of why they are included in the first place.

To add to the quality of the product is that fact that RedBak manufacture all their supplements in their own GMP (good manufacturing practices) certified facility. So consumers can rest assured that what’s on the label is correct.

RedBak Complete Protein Additional Components

Other bonus inclusions are a complement of vitamins and minerals, a bit of fibre in the form of inulin and papain – a digestive enzyme. Add to this the combination of fast, medium and slow proteins and you’ve got a protein powder that’s suited to the athlete looking for a protein supplement they can incorporate into their diet at any time of the day to simply increase their quality protein and micronutrient intake.

Serving Size & Protein Content

The serving size for Complete Protein is 30 grams, which yields a total of 24.8 grams of protein. Unfortunately, RedBak don’t disclose the amino acid profile of the product so we can’t tell you the BCAA or leucine content per serve. As with all RedBak’s proteins, they add l-glutamine and taurine. This bumps the l-glutamine content up to 1.9 grams per serve – which is pretty impressive.

RedBak Complete Protein Taste & Mixability

Protein stands out from the RedBak products as the one that consistently receives good reviews concerning its taste and mixability. So you can have peace of mind that you’ll be happy with the flavour of Complete Protein.

RedBak Complete Protein Packaging, Sizes & Flavours

Complete Protein comes in three different pack sizes, 1kg, 3kg and 4.5kg. The 1kg and 3kg sizes come packed in a cardboard outer with a flexible inner resealable plastic bag, whereas the 4.5kg comes in a large foil bag. Flavour wise, Complete Protein is available in chocolate and vanilla.
