For those of you who are new to the concept, Maxine’s Challenge is a 12 week transformation program open to women of all ages, sizes and training levels. As long as you’re up for adopting healthier eating and training habits and willing to take the plunge into becoming a better you, then this Challenge was designed for you. Maxines Challenge 2016 – Registration Dates
Similar to 2015, the 2016 version of the Maxine’s Challenge will run two times throughout the year, once in Feburary and once in August. So, if you’re not quite ready to start the first 12 week challenge, you’ve got a second chance later in the year. As per usual, pre registrations will start two weeks prior to official registration openings. By pre registering for the Challenges, you will receive email reminders as well as extra motivation and tips for the upcoming 12 weeks.

Maxines Challenge 2016 - Check In Dates
One important fact that you should be aware of is that Maxine’s Challenge will continue to adopt the use of “Check In” points. Implemented two years ago, these two “Check In” points are situated in weeks 4 and 8 and will require updates of your progress pics in order for you to continue with the Challenge and receiving all the vital training and meal plans. Maxines Challenge 2016 – News & Facts
Similar to the previous years challenges, the program will begin with a required ‘Before’ image being the start. Participants will also have the chance to take some initial fitness measurements via a small fitness test. It should be noted that the program isn’t a bodybuilding or weight loss contest, rather it is about making the biggest possible transformation. For many, it will be about losing weight, but it could also be about gaining strength. Progress pics are required during the designated ‘Check In’ weeks in week 4 and 8. This is also the perfect time to re-test yourself in terms of fitness.
For the first time, the Maxine's Challenge will come with three different plans including two premium paid plans. This includes the Basic Plan, the Premium Plan and the Platinum Plan. The FREE Basic Plan will come with a basic weekly fitness and nutrition plan, an ability to set up a profile and also a 1 week free trial of the Challenge Community forum. The Premium Plan will set you back $149, which comes with a starter pack of supplements worth $100. You will also have access to a more detailed set of fitness and nutrition plans as well as access to the Challenge Community forum, the coaches and ambassadors. The Platinum Plan will cost $499, but will come with $250 worth of supplements and an individually tailored approach to your training and nutrition.
Challengers are also able to and encouraged to blog about their journey, either via text or through videos. At the end, an ‘After’ shot will be taken, which will initiate voting by the public to find the top 50 finalists. Judges will then whittle this list to the top 10 before final placings and Grand Champion will be selected and awarded during the Gala Dinner.
As per previous years, the entire Challenge will be conducted in accordance with anti-doping policies of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). As a participant, you have the opportunity to sign up with a public or private profile, however only public profiles will be eligible to win prizes. Participants can also join a group as a way to help each other during the 12 weeks.
Maxine's Challenge 2016 - Costs
One of the most common questions related to the Maxine’s Challenge is how much it all costs. This depends on how you’re going to complete the Challenge. If you’re just looking at following the Basic diet and training plans, it will essentially be free. However, in order to be eligible for the prizes, you will need to spend a small amount on being part of one of the premium plans. Overall though, Maxine’s has ensured that changes to your diet, nutrition and training won’t be a huge outlay and everything will add up to roughly $5 a day. A small price to pay for long term positive changes.
