Animal Whey Facts

Animal is best known for its hardcore image and comprehensive multi-tablet multivitamin, Animal Pak. Recently they have announced the release of a brand new blended protein powder, Animal Whey.

Animal Whey Review & Ingredients

Animal’s parent company, Universal Nutrition, already manufacture a blended whey protein – Universal Ultra Whey Pro. Animal have attempted to differentiate their protein from Ultra Whey, but there really is only so much you can do with a 100% whey product.

Animal Whey will contain a blend of whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate, a typical mix for a product in this category. In addition, it also contains a digestive enzyme blend. All up, each scoop will contain around 25 g protein, approximately 4 g carbs, and 1 g fat.

On release it will be available in 900 g and 1.8 kg sizes and chocolate, vanilla, and cookies and cream flavour.

Competition will be stiff for Animal, with industry giants like Optimum and Dymatize making similar products (Optimum 100% Whey Gold Standard and Dymatize Elite Whey, respectively).

Animal Whey Release Date

Animal Whey will be released in the USA in 2015. It will not have to undergo any reformulation for import into Australia. As such, as expect it to arrive without too much delay early to mid 2015.
