Powerbar Power-Gel is a source of fast energy, for those athletes or active individuals who could use some fuel on-the-go. Power-Gel's convenient packaging made traveling a breeze and helped me blast through some serious terrain. I've made many repeat purchases of this product, especially while embarking on strenuous backpacking trips (in which space and time is crucial) or before some serious cardio activity. My favorite Power-Gel flavor is "Double Latte", as it tastes like an energizing coffee drink. I would recommend washing down the Power-Gel with some water to get the full effect you want and need. These concentrated carbohydrates will kick in fast and provide you with some serious energy.

Powerbar Gel Ingredients
Maltodextrin, Water, Fructose, Salt, Food Acids (330, 331), Kola Nut Extract (0.5 %), Flavour, Preservatives (202, 211), Mineral Salt (508). Made on equipment that also processes milk. Contains Caffeine.
Powerbar Gel Directions
Consume with 400mL of water every 30-45 minutes during intensive activity. Consume as necessary for duration of intense activity. This food is not a sole source of nutrition and should be eaten in conjunction with a nutritious diet. If used during exercise, consume in accordance with directions to avoid the possibility of gastrointestinal upset.
Storage
Keep in cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Store below 30°C.
