T-Hip Rocking/Trunk Twists. Warming up is essential to get your body ready for the hard workout ahead & to prevent injury. T-Hip Rocking/Trunk Twists help to warm up the core, but can also warms up & stretch the lower back, as well as the obliques & serratus muscles. Remember to pull your naval to the spine when doing this movement, to activate the TA (transverse abdominus), the lower abdominal region which often gets neglected. This movement warms up the core and gets the circulation going. It also stretches the pec area when the knees rock over to the other side. Do 10 reps each side.
