Upper Body Warm Up - Rotating Press
The Warm Up Rotating Press is a very effective exercise for strengthening the external rotator muscles in the shoulder. The internal rotators get very tight, and are very active especially during chest workouts, as well as with a lot of our back work. The internal rotating muscles, the supraspinatus, the subscapularis, & the pec minor internally rotate the arm. The muscles that externally rotate, don't get the same sort of work and thus can get out of balance, potentially putting you at risk of injury, a common issue with bodybuilders.
