Hack Squat Technique - A fantastic exercise for the quads which will also bring in the glutes and hamstrings. Emsure your feet are shoulder width apart or slightly wider and your toes are turned out slightly. Go slow on the way down, making sure you get full range of motion before driving through the quads to the top of the movement. This exercise offers lots of knee flexion, which will really target the quads well. Maintain good posture with your chest and chin up. Don'ts: Avoid doing partial reps due to use of too heavy a weight. Not getting a full contraction means not getting full development. The knees should follow in line with the toes and avoid placing your feet too far out in front, which will accentuate the glutes and hamstrings more.
