Creatine Malate (Tri-Creatine Malate)

Creatine malate, typically referred to as tri-creatine malate, is Creatine Monohydrate bound to malic acid. It is a highly soluble creatine compound that provides a much greater increase in creatine bioavailability over regular creatine monohydrate. Malic acid is a naturally occurring krebs cycle intermediate, meaning that it plays a crucial role in our natural energy producing cycle.

When malic acid is paired with creatine monohydrate to form tri-creatine malate it offers a much higher level of linking Energy production than using creatine monohydrate alone, thus allowing the user to get the most out of their workout. This extra energy is possible because malic acid plays a role in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) - one of the body’s major energy sources.

Tri-creatine malate is a fairly new product and is named so because it is composed of three creatine molecules attached to one molecule of malic acid. What has everyone talking is its ability to take the benefits of creatine monohydrate, such as an increase lean body mass, muscle strength, endurance and overall athletic performance, and pair it with an acid that allows a higher level of energy production and less water retention.

Unlike creatine monohydrate’s 5 to 6 day loading period, tri-creatine malate does not require a loading phase at all.

Tri-creatine malate promotes faster transport of creatine to the muscle cells. This is what lowers water retention and bloating. It also means a lower dosage and more efficient results, as opposed to the dosage required and results achieved when using creatine monohydrate alone. Another bonus is that it stimulates the mind as well as the body and improves brain function.
