Creatine Liquid (also known as Creatine Serum)
Creatine liquid or serum was originally develped by Muscle Marketing USA (also known as MMUSA) and supplied internationally since 1995. On release to the market it was considered by many a significant advance in the supplement market.... soluble, stable & no negative effects. Unlike powder or powders suspended in liquids, creatine liquid (in stable form) is absorbed quickly and efficiently. Taken with a dropper in small doses under the tongue or in a measured dose, the liquid is quickly absorbed by the by-passing the digestive system and thereby retaining a much higher potency. In contrast, other forms of creatine can take up to an hour to digest in addition to a loading period of five days and daily maintenance.
For example, the equivalent of 1000mg of creatine monohydrate powder per serving may be assimilated into the bloodstream within minutes. As a result, there is no time for the waste product, "creatinine" to develop. Creatinine is the by-product of creatine that is responsible for the negative side effects such as stomach discomfort, bloating, water retention, dehydration, headaches, muscle cramps and diarrhea. A common feature on the labels of many creatine products are claims such as “100% creatine” or “No Creatinine” – this figure is usually the result of a dry test, meaning that the purity of the creatine is measured when it is still in powder form, as opposed to after it has made contact with liquid. Due to its easy dosages and water solubility though, creatine liquid doesn't cause dehydration and muscle cramping because no loading or maintenance is required. Taken only on the days you work out it works quickly and effectively and causes no side effects, no matter how much you take. Creatine liquids may be sucessfully stacked with a pre-workout Nitric Oxide Supplement or a range muscle builders including HMB, Tribulus or GH.
Creatine has now been studied extensively since the early 1990's & is considered safe with little to no negative side effects. As always one should though as a precaution check with your health care professional before starting a cycle of creatine or any supplementation programe, especially if you suffer from any liver, kidney or pre-existing medical condition. Females should not take creatine supplements while pregnant or lactating.
