Keeping constant tension in the muscle by reducing the time paused at the bottom or at the top of movement really helps to pump blood into the muscle and get it warmed up. To start the exercise, adjust the seating pad for your height and raise your legs till their straight. Once at the top, let your leg drop back down to the starting position and continue for the desired number of reps.
