If your looking for a great quality Whey Protein, I highly recommend Optimum Nutrition Whey Gold Standard. It's low in fat, cholesterol and skips all the fillers that so many other powders seem to be full of these days. I drink it with 300ml of cold water post workout and find it delicious (the key really is the right amount of cold water for me). It mixes up really easily, just a couple of shakes and its ready to drink. The addition of a “beneficial” dose of Glutamine is also very welcome. I also find it not over priced and good value for money (I suspect that’s because you’re not paying for a huge advertising budget). This is the only Whey Protein I will drink post workout.

Thanks again Mr. supp, 100% gold standard whey by Optimum Nutrition is a great product. I'm currently using it and have gained a fair bit of quality lean muscle mass, it gives around 24g fast absorbing whey and about 5.5g of BCAA's which are necessary for recovery. It comes in a number of great flavours, cookies and cream being my favourite. I get the best results taking it within 30 minutes of a workout and sometimes when I'm hungry in the morning as a snack. 100% gold standard whey is really a great product for anyone looking to gain lean muscle mass definitely a 10/10.

The 100% Gold Standard Whey Protein is the most versatile protein I have ever come across. With a great taste mixed with either milk or water, this protein will surely get you the results you’re working for. I started using it after going through a bulking stage and found that this protein really helped me strip of any excess body fat whilst still growing lean muscle. When mixing it doesn’t clump and is easy to drink which is always a bonus. The BCAA’s included in the mix also aids in recovery. There is a reason why it has been voted number 1 protein and I can now see why. Great cost for the quantity you receive also. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to drink protein for any reason because it is so versatile.

I just love trying the different flavours of Optimum 100% Whey Gold. The last time I tried Banana Cream and Choc Mint, and both are as tasty as the Vanilla and Chocolate standards. Taste, texture and value wise I have found
Optimum 100% Whey Gold has lived up to its reputation, with a pleasant flavour and a texture that blends well in smoothies and the like, and a price that is affordable. Leave it to sit for a few minutes after mixing, and it gets really satisfyingly creamy and smooth. This time I'm going to be even more adventurous and try Rocky Road!
