- Does Elemental Plant Matrix protein powder contain gluten?
EN Plant Matrix does NOT have any gluten-ingredients (wheat) listed on the product label. Plant based protein powders like Plant Matrix do not contain gluten and are they best type proteins for people seeking to avoid gluten.
- Hi there. How similar is the taste compared to the shredding matrix? I'm almost out of the shredding matrix and you're currently out of stock. Does the plant matrix taste different (choc mudcake) and is it as effective?
Plant Matrix is as effective as Shredding Matrix. The active fat loss ingredients are exactly the same.
The taste is different though as the protein is plant based. For a plant based protein powder we believe it to be one of the best tasting on the market.

Have gone vegan in the past year and used to have the standard whey protein matrix which was great. This is such an amazing product. Only 100 calories per serve with water and 20 grams or so of protein. The caffeine kick makes all the difference, I have it as my morning coffee/ protein shake combo in the car on the way to work. Has helped me lose 22 kgs post-pregnancy. Just make sure you shake well immediately as it can settle at the bottom if you delay.
Highly recommend, have rapidly run out of the 1kg product and time to restock except am choosing the 4.5kg this time. Flavour great too!

Not quite as tasty as the whey variant, but doesn’t contain whey, sucralose ( neither which I can tolerate any more ) and does contain the fat burning ingredients I want. Thumbs up!!

I switched over to Plant Matrix due to WPI giving me digestive 'discomfort'.
If you're used to Whey, then be prepared to compromise of flavour and texture a liiiiiiittle bit. Honestly pretty great, and once you're over the grittiness, it's just like old times.
Mixes like a charm, goes well in baking but a bit on the costly side unless you're already vegan and buying things like tofu, legumes etc - then the cost is worth it.
Text on the packaging is pretty hard to read through 🤷♂️

There's gotta be a better tasting Vegan protein powder. Has a good report card regarding ingredients, but man, the taste and texture are not good. I've tried this with almond milk, water and half almond milk, half water. It's not the liquid. It's the powder. It's gritty and taste like how paint smells. Chemically. Do not recommend.

I’m not sure if it’s because I mix only with water, but I don’t really taste much of a chocolate or honeycomb. It’s not bad as such, and mixed with banana it’s fine to drink. I won’t repurchase this flavour though.
