Muscletech’s new Lab Series of products will initially feature just two supplements including a brand new blended whey protein along with a post workout known as Muscletech After Build. More supplements are likely to come and we’re having a hard time differentiating between this particular series, but it might be one designed for those who are happy to pay a little bit extra for better blends.
Muscletech Lab Series After Build Review & Ingredients
Since our initial write up of the formulation of the new Lab Series After Build from Muscletech, they have since decided to release the panel. As we expected, the post-workout formula contained many common after workout ingredients such as:
- 4:1:1 BCAA Matrix – 4g of Leucine, 1g of Isoleucine, 1g of Valine
- Growth & Recovery Matrix – 2g glutamine, 2g of creatine monohydrate and 1g of creatine HCL
- Lean Muscle & Performance Matrix – 2.5g of betaine and 1g of taurine.
- Hydra-Electrolyte Support Blend – 63.5mg sodium chloride, 55.5mg dipotassium phosphate, 50mg coconut water and 5.26mg of black pepper extract.
It’s a transparently dosed formula, which is reminiscent of many other post workout formulas in the past, especially the now defunct MusclePharm Recon. Each serve of the After Build is 17g with each tub containing roughly 30 serves.
Muscletech Lab Series After Build Flavours, Mixability & Taste
One official flavour has been confirmed for the new Muscletech Lab Series After Build, which will be Fruit Punch. Muscletech have always been consistent in terms of the flavouring and mixability so we expect that these new products will also rate highly in this respect.
Muscletech Lab Series After Build Release Date
The new After Build from Muscletech will be available shortly in the US, and it’s unsure whether it will make its way to other countries, but if it does, don’t expect to see it till mid 2016.
