MusclePharm Wreckage Effectiveness & Benefits
Since Jim Stoppani released his revolutionary range of supplements last year including the clinically dosed pre workout Pre Jym, supplement company’s have been quick to adopt a similar approach. These include the most recent workout from Nutrex – Outlift. In fact, 8 out of the 11 active ingredients in MusclePharm’s Wreckage is the same as that of Jym Pre Jym. The formula is quite comprehensive featuring a range of ingredients to help support pump (citrulline and agmatine), muscle recovery (leucine), performance (creatine HCl, beta alanine) and focus and concentration (tyrosine, caffeine and phosphatidylserine). The added bioperine is also helpful to support absorption of the ingredients. Overall, you’re looking at an extremely well dosed formula, which in some respects is even better than Pre Jym. A truly well rounded pre workout, Wreckage is ideal for anyone looking for performance gains.
MusclePharm Wreckage Negatives & Cons
There aren’t too many flaws you can pick with MusclePharm Wreckage. As previously mentioned, it’s an extremely well dosed formula and contains some of the best pre workout ingredients around. The addition of D Aspartic Acid (DAA) is an interesting move. DAA is well known as being an effective testosterone support ingredient, especially for those with lower starting levels. It’s not a bad inclusion, but those 3g could have been utilised better with other ingredients to support pre workout benefits. The scoop is quite large, so you’ll need to use a fair bit of water as well – which can be a slight hindrance when it comes to working out as you might feel a bit bloated. However you can easily remedy that by having half the liquid before your workout and sip the rest during your workout. The formula is also extremely caffeine heavy, so might not be ideal for many trainers and may result in a bit of a crash afterwards.
MusclePharm Wreckage Flavours, Taste & Mixability
MusclePharm’s new pre workout Wreckage will be available in two official flavours including Watermelon and Raspberry Lemonade. However we expect more flavours to pop up when the product is actually released. MusclePharm’s pre workouts have always been excellent to drink and mix, so Wreckage should follow suit.
MusclePharm Wreckage Verdict
The new pre workout Wreckage from MusclePharm is one of the best new supplement releases we’ve seen in awhile. It’s a smart move from the company and the clinically dosed formulation is definitely a highlight. If you’re after a pre workout supplement that works and works well, then you really can’t go past this product. It’s a bold new direction for MusclePharm, but definitely a welcome change.
MusclePharm Wreckage Release Date
No planned released dates have been set for the new Wreckage pre workout from MusclePharm, however we expect the entire Hardcore Series line to drop sometime in the first quarter around March or April 2015.
