Since I started training at the gym three years ago I have tried many different protein supplements. Most of them tasted very ordinary and didn't mix nicely. I'm also sensitive to lactose and found that I couldn't handle the majority of whey protein powders available, and the ones that I could handle were unpleasant to drink. Then I read somewhere about the Syntrax Nectar range of protein powders being lactose free, so I gave them a try and was not disappointed. The Syntrax protein mixes with water and is very pleasant to drink. It tastes just like fruit juice and isn't heavy like most other powders which need to be mixed with milk. Syntrax whey comes in a variety of flavours, my favourite is peach which is part of the Nectar naturals range – contains no artificial sweeteners, colours of flavours. All the Syntrax whey powders also contain zero carbs and fat, which is perfect because I don't want to waste my money on protein supplements which are packed with carbs I could get from a cheap loaf of bread. If anyone is after a high quality protein powder I would highly recommend any of the Syntrax WPI range.
