Syn Tec Carbo-Plex is a pure carbohydrate support formula designed specifically for the sports people to aid them in achieving their nutritional and performance goals. SynTec Carbo-Plex is made up of Maltrin M100, a high quality Maltodextrin made from dent corn and is manufactured by the Grain Processing Corporation USA. Maltodextrins are complex carbohydrates, also known as glucose polymers, derived from corn starch. They are not simple sugars and provide a slow release of energy. They are commonly found in weight gain formulas and meal replacements.

Maltrin maltodextrins are mixtures of glucose polymers produced by the controlled depolymerization of corn starch. They are most often categorized by a dextrose equivalence (DE). DE is a measure of reducing power compared to a dextrose standard of 100. The higher the DE, the greater the extent of starch depolymerization, resulting in a smaller average polymer size which causes more bloating and is mainly dextrose. Maltrin maltodextrins are defined by the FDA as products having a DE less than 20. Maltrin 100 which SynTec uses in Carbo-Plex has a DE of 10 which is alot lower and far superior to other Maltodextrin formulas in the market place.

Being a hard-gainer, I have trouble packing on size...but not with this product. As far as carb powders go, this one is cheap and effective. Make sure you mix it with a high quality protein powder, to ensure you are getting the nutrients you require in order to gain size.

Gave me the extra carbs I needed, however it only mixes well in some protein shakes. Mixes well with whey 100% however mixes very poorly with a Maxs Nitetime Protein.

I bought this product to use before and after my workouts with some WPI. This is a great carb product and definitely is true to the label claims. No bloating, and no "sugar crash". When i take this product pre-workout, it helps give me better pumps and animal intensity. When i take this product after my workout, it helps gives me an insulin spike. Another benefit is the fact you can now control your protein to carb ratio in your protein shakes. I love this product so much i am making it a staple.

Syntec Carbo-Plex Directions
Use Carbo-Plex to increase the carbohydrate content of your diet. Add Carbo-Plex to your Creatine and Glutamine drinks to aid absorption. Can be added to high protein drinks when taken after physical exercise. Add one serving to drink of choice. Use a shaker for best mixing results.
