Redbak Complete Protein Reviews
11th May 2012Review by Tracey M, Seymour VIC
I loved this protein! I was looking for a change from my usual O.N 100% Whey, which was getting quite monotonous and I saw that MrSupp had this on special so how could I resist! It's a blended protein supplement, and I'd never used a product with casein before. I took 3 servings a day, upon waking, after a workout and before bed. When I'd finished I had noticed greater hardness in my muscles, which was great!

Not a bad supplement. I used it as a fill in between meals with milk. Tastes great with milk and mixes extremely easily even without a shaker ball etc. Do not have with water...

This is the smoothest creamiest protein powder my partner has had yet. Tastes fantastic too, one of the better pure clean proteins around!

After about a week of using 60 grams a day and working out my usual 5 times a week, I've noticed a significant increase in energy during workouts. After about 2 weeks, I've noticed decent gains in muscle definition and endurance. Previously used no supplements. It tastes good, and was delivered next day. Pretty fantastic.

This protein is as the name suggests, complete. It has a good range of both fast digesting and slower digesting proteins and is perfect as a pre or post workout, before bed or in between meal protein. I appreciated the high contents of glutamine, bcaa's as well as the inclusion of vitamins and minerals. Also, when you buy the 3kg amount it comes in 6 individual 500g bags which are great for maintaining freshness and are also handy for travelling. This product tastes pretty good and would make for a wise choice for anyone in the protein market.

I have recently started using Redbak complete protein and no lie is the best tasting protein I have ever had, usually protein tasted pretty bad when mixed with water but not the case with this protein. For the price it is also very cheap for a stack with 81.2% protein and has both slow and quickly digestible proteins so prefect for me as I use it for post workout and as extra meals throughout the day. I have been using this for 2 weeks now to supplement my diet and have put on 1.7 kilos and for someone with a lightning quick metabolism that’s good.

I purchased Redbak complete protein as a cheaper alternative to the ON 100% Whey Gold and Redbak Rapid WPI which I had been using for quite some time. In my opinion the Redbak Complete is a good all-round protein supplement but it does not mix as well in the shaker bottle as the products listed above and is too sweet for my taste. Having tried many protein powders in my time: ON, Redbak, Max's & Body Ripped to name a few I would give this product a rating of 7.5/10 and feel it would be suitable for people on a tighter supplement budget. Thanks again Mr. Supplement!

Redbak Complete Protein is a brilliant product for women who are training or for general health. I feel re-energised after having a Redbak Complete Protein Shake, especially after completing a long run or gruelling weights session. I am not an avid fan of eating lots of meat, but this product gives me all of my protein needs and more. The vanilla flavour is great when making smoothies, especially when you have bananas or berries in the fridge. I'd definitely recommend Redbak Complete Protein to anyone wanting to get more protein into their diet.

I’m on a tight budget so was looking for a protein with good ‘bang for my buck’ as they say. I ordered the big 4.5 kilo pack from MrSupplement and I’ve gotta say I’m more than impressed. The product mixes well, tastes good, and my shape has changed for the better since taking it. If you too want to cover your protein requirements from all angles, you can’t go past Redbak Complete Protein from MrSupplement.

I have been using Redbak products for five years. The one I find the best is the Redbak WPI. It's a great hit of good proteins for a great price. I have tried Protein Stack and Complete Protein but find if you are using Redbak simply to get more proteins in your diet without having to consume huge amounts of meat, fish or poultry, then Redbak WPI is a great chose. I buy the biggest kilogram pack I can get. I was disappointed that you no longer can get the 8 kilogram pack; the buckets came in great use after I finished with the protein!

Redbak complete protein is a great product which I found very affordable and effective. It is a great protein to use before/during or after training. The major benefit I have noticed using Redbak is the increased energy levels and the increased duration of training which I have been able to achieve. I have also noticed reduced soreness following training. I recommended this protein to anyone trying to gain lean muscle who trains frequently with high intensity. I purchased the vanilla flavour it tasted great with milk but was also ok when mixed with water. The protein mixes will with water with very few lumps/chunks. Cheap, effective and tastes good = worth buying.

Redbak Complete Protein is one of the best protein powders I have used. It is the perfect protein powder as I can have it at any time of the day whether its pre or post workout, during the day or before I go to sleep. I have been on this powder for a few weeks now and I can already see the different as my arms and legs are starting to become huge. As I am studying nutrition, I am always looking for a protein powder which provides me with a large protein hit without a huge amount of fat, and Redbak Complete Protein certainly does that. It is also very cost effective as I bought it in the 4.5kg bag for $147.95, compared to other retail shop which charge over $200 for the same product. It also tastes great (I got the Chocolate) and is easy to drink as it is smooth. I rank this as my number 1 protein powder and recommend it to all!

I have found Redbak Complete Protein to be a good all round protein. Perfect if you only want to buy one protein to meet all your requirements. At the moment I am experiencing good gains using it as part of a hard gainer diet. I originally bought it as its broad spectrum of protein sources and absorption speeds makes it an excellent protein to use as a base for mass-gain shakes (I mix with ground oats and nuts). Also works well post workout due to the high levels of WPI and hydrolysed WPI however I find the 'cookie pieces' to be slightly off-putting when it is not in a milk-based shake. All in all though, great tasting (I purchased the Cookies and Cream flavour). I also use it as a night time protein. So in short: Very versatile. I will purchase again.

Redbak Complete Protein is a good all round protein. The powder mixes very well and tastes great. I have noticed good consistent gains when using this supplement. Redbak Complete is also very competitively priced when compared to other powders. I have stacked it with Animal Pak, Animal M-Stak & Animal Pump. As I am lactose intolerant some protein powders cause my stomach discomfort but with Redbak Complete Protein I rarely get a stomach upset. I take Redbak Protein first thing in the morning and immediately after training plus sometimes before a football match. I am very happy with Redbak Complete & place it ahead of all other protein powders I’ve tried!
