Max's Challenge Supplement Range 2016

Max’s Challenge season is upon us again and 2016 promises to be bigger and better than the previous years. With more and more participants joining in, Max’s has decided to make things simpler by introducing some new supplements and offering an easy guide on the absolute essentials for the Challenge. Although your diet, nutrition, exercise and training should be the focal points, the right supplements can really help you smash your goals and make it easier to get into the finals and even become the grand champion. This article will take a look at changes to the Max’s range of supplements for the 2016 Max’s Challenge and also provide an in-depth guide to what supplements to use during the challenge period.

Max's Challenge Supplement Range 2016

Last year saw some major changes to the Max’s supplement line including the introduction of the Transformation Series, which were 3 extra supplements designed specifically for the Challenge to simplify the process. Let’s take a quick look at the major changes:

  • Max’s Transformation Series Mass – The new mass gainer designed specifically for the Challenge provides over 400 calories per serve to put on size and mass fast.
  • Max’s Transformation Series Lean – The lean gain formula providing plenty of protein for muscle growth and also carbs to support recovery.
  • Max’s Transformation Series Night – The casein dominant formula ideal for trainers wanting to build muscle whilst sleeping.
  • NAGG, Cre8 Carnage and Hybrid BCAAs have all been moved to the Laboratory Series, which now contains 5 supplements including Creatine X8, Glutamine+, BCAA 10:1:1, IntraBoost and BetaPump.
  • The snacks range has been simplified providing Muscle Meal Cookies and Bars as well as the Super Shred Cookies and Bars.
  • Prices have been made more competitive to ease the financial burden of frequent supplement users.

The rest of the range has stayed fairly unchanged with Max’s Super Shred, Max’s Supersize, Max’s Super Whey and Max’s Nite Time still available along with the newer WPI HL.

Max's Challenge Supplements Essentials & Requirements

To be eligible for the prizes, Max’s Challenge 2016 participants will be required to use Max’s Supplements and retain their proof of purchase. With so many supplements in the line though, it can be hard selecting the right supplements for your needs. As such, Max’s has derived an absolute basic requirements checklist for you to use during the Challenge.

Max’s Muscle Up Challenge 2016 Lean Protocol

  • 1 x 1.8kg Max’s Lean Transformation Series or 1 x 2.2kg Max’s Super Shred
  • 1 x 900g Max’s Night Transformation Series or 1 x 1kg Max’s Nite Time

Max’s Muscle Up Challenge 2016 Mass Protocol

  • 1 x 7kg Max’s Mass Transformation Series or 2 x 4kg Max’s Super Size
  • 1 x 900g Max’s Night Transformation Series or 1 x 1kg Max’s Nite Time

Of course, the above recommendations are just a guide and you can certainly use more supplements to help you achieve the best results. While you can still complete the challenge without the use of supplements, you won’t be eligible for the prizes.

Max's Challenge Supplements to Build Size & Gain Mass

If you’re looking to put on some serious size and bulk, which is often the first priority goal of a lot of trainers, then the ideal supplements to do so will be either the Max’s Super Size or the Max’s Mass Transformation Series. Trainers wanting to lose weight can still benefit from using those two supplements as they are excellent recovery supplements to help you tackle the tougher training sessions. A successful bulk will often also utilise other supplements such as Max’s Creatine X8, a pre workout such as Shok Shot or BetaPump as well as an intra workout such as IntraBoost or a branched chain amino acid supplement such as BCAA 10:1:1. One idea is actually to utilise one 12 week challenge to bulk, whilst the other 12 weeks will be used to shred.

Max's Challenge Supplements to Shred & Get Ripped

Most of the participants in the Max’s Challenge though will be looking at fat loss and getting ripped. To help you shred, the ideal supplements to start off with would be the Max’s Super Shred or Max’s Lean Transformation Series. You might also want to use the Max’s WPI HL if you’re planning to seriously increase the intensity of your workouts. As with the Mass program, you could also utilise Max’s Creatine X8 to help boost strength and lean muscle mass, as well as any pre workouts, intra workouts and BCAA supplements to help you achieve the best results. Max’s Nite Time is also recommended for both protocols to help you maintain optimal muscle growth during long periods without food such as during sleep.

Max's Challenge Supplements Review 2016

For the Max’s Challenge 2016, participants and challengers are spoiled for choice when it comes to the supplements they’re able to use during the 12 weeks. Even the fussiest trainers will find the perfect supplement stack to help them complete their journey. Remember thought that supplements are meant to ‘supplement’ your diet and training, so make sure you focus on these aspects first.
