Ladybird Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid in our diet. Carnitine is mainly in meat & dairy products. L-Carnitine helps to transport fats to the body’s cells to be used as an energy source. Carnitine is required by the body for energy metabolism & for the proper use of fats as an energy source & enhances fatty acid oxidation, particularly during exercise.
During exercise muscle Carnitine levels decrease. Restricted diets can also reduce muscle Carnitine levels. Supplementation with Ladybird L-Carnitine is beneficial in alleviating these decreases & helps to increase the activity of key oxidative (fat burning) enzymes.
Ladybird Carnitine supplementation is beneficial for endurance athletes as it can increase VO2 MAX & reduce exercise-associated lactate accumulation, thereby delaying the onset of fatigue.
