Body Ripped’s 100% pure pharmaceutical grade BCAA’s contain the preferred 2:1:1 ratio of L-Leucine to L:Isoleucine and L-Valine. Of the eight essential amino acids that cannot be produced by the body, the three branched-chain aminos Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine are of key importance. During and after Isotonic Exercise (i.e. weight-training), BCAA’s are catabolised to form the amino acid Alanine within the muscles. Supplemental BCAA’s may help to reduce the body’s need to catabolise endogenous BCAA’s by providing an alternate source for the body to convert to Alanine. By preventing the catabolism of BCAA’s from the muscle cells, muscle recovery from exercise is accelerated, and recovery time is reduced.
