Black Widow Waxy Maize is a great product and very affordably (only slightly more expensive than maltodextrin, its functionally closest rival). I use it during and post-workouts (mixed with maltodextrin and Whey Protein Isolate) and am impressed by how quickly it seems to give me an insulin (and thus energy) spike. Great if you are trying to gain weight and like to take a huge load of fast-absorbing carbs post workout, as I find taking too much maltodextrin often gives me an upset stomach. Tastes neutral and mixes very easily, although if you are using it alone be aware that it doesn't have the sweetness of maltodextrin. By far the best fast-absorbing carb I’ve tried.
